I wish all the chaos in Egypt would end. I’m really worried for my family. My grandma called this morning saying they heard gun shots outside their home. My aunts and uncles have all locked themselves indoors. And looters have taken to the street. It’s fucking insane. I’m thousands of miles away and a nervous wreck. I can’t imagine how they’re feeling.

Protests in Egypt →
The whole country is in chaos. I hope my family in Egypt is okay. And I was really excited to go back there this summer… yeah that isn’t happening.
I’m anxious about what’s going to happen as a result of this. Seems like Mubarak is easing his way out of office, but what will come next? It would be a disaster if Islamic fundamentalists took power.

I lose a little bit of faith in humanity every time I go on facebook.
It amazes me that my Egyptian friends are completely ignorant about what’s happening in their own country. It’s not that hard to turn on the news or google the facts before making outrageous claims.
I would screencap the shit out of this conservation I’m looking at. So much ignorance.
